This weekend was the legendary Taste of Chicago. I have been waiting for this weekend for months. Why you ask? Taste of Chicago is the world's largest outdoor food festival. Need I say more?
The event is held at Grant Park, where the streets are closed down and lined with pop-ups, restaurants, food trucks and more. You can get everything from watermelon slices the size of your face to fried alligator (no, I didn't make that up). I was heart broken when it was canceled on Saturday because of the weather but, thankfully, Sunday was sunny, beautiful and extremely hot but beggars can't be choosers, am I right?
Yes, yes you will.
