Remember, no man is a failure who has friends

One night when I was young, I spent the night at my grandparents' house. My grandpa and I stayed up late, flipped on the TV and started watching It's a Wonderful Life. I loved seeing George Bailey's life, listening to the cooky things Clarence said and singing along to auld lang syne. When I got home the next day I insisted on carrying a bell around so angels could get their wings.
To this day it's still my favorite movie and I never fail to watch it multiple times come the holiday season. Well then, you can imagine my excitement when I found out the Greenhouse Theater was putting on a production of one of my favorite stories from now until Christmas.
It's a small production that is staged to be a radio broadcast of "It's a Wonderful Life". The actors take on various voices and characteristics and perfectly imitate all the characters you've grown to love from the movie.

The Greenhouse Theater  is on Lincoln in Lincoln Park by Oz Park (say that 3 times fast). It's a small theater that's homey and cozy. With the cutest theater bar I've ever been to.

If (correction, when) you go, be sure to grab a hot chocolate with Baileys. Trust me, it's the perfect way to start the perfect holiday show.

I cannot say enough good things about the production. It's a great way great take on the best movie and a fabulous way to get in the Christmas spirit (but if you follow me on Instagram, you'll know I've been completely submerged in holiday spirit for a while now)!
